Barry Terron Wilkerson

Mr. Barry Terron Wilkerson, 27 a resident of 1340 Nichols Street, Henderson, North Carolina passed Thursday, November 22, 2012.

He was born to the parentage of the Benita Cofield and the late Barry Wilson.

He attended the Granville County School System and later received his GED and Brick Masonry Certification from Kittrell Job Corp. He also received Certification in Auto Mechanic from Vance-Granville Community College.

"Ron" as he was affectionately called was a very loving and dedicated son, father, brother, uncle, nephew and friend to all who knew him. He enjoyed being with his family and friends. Ron especially enjoyed spending time with his daughter Naima, who was the apple of his eye. If he wasn't washing or wiping his car, you could probably find him writing or rapping a rap.

In addition to his mother Benita Cofield (Mike) of the home, he leaves to cherish precious memories; one daughter, Naima Wilkerson; one sister, LaVonda Williams (Frank); one niece Trinity Williams and one nephew Noah Williams of Franklinton, NC; one aunt, Kristie Sneed (Melvin) of Oxford, NC; three uncles, Kenneth Wilkerson of Wichita, KS, Connell Wilkerson (Ruby) and Derek Wilkerson both of Oxford,NC; a special friend Karreisha Royster and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 4:00 PM in the Betts Funeral Home Chapel with eulogy by Apostle Alvin Sledge.

Viewing will be from 11:30 am to 7:00 pm Wednesday at the Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the home of Connell Wilkerson at 7532 Sam Young Road, Oxford, North Carolina.
